    More and more people are sharing their life stories with families and friends. These histories celebrate life and reflect the choices and forces that helped shape it. They help preserve a heritage that is easily lost if not written down.

     

    Within a book you can preserve memories, photographs, collections, drawings, letters, voices, and relationships in a meaningful and enduring ways. By chronicling your experiences and events, your personal stories will help link generations together.

  • Getting started

    Working directly with you, John Bennett helps you get started. There are many ways to begin the process of publishing your book and finding the right approach for you is important.  Storytelling can be the effort of one or be a group project. Some people like to write their own manuscript. Others prefer the help of a personal historian.

     

    Personal historians can help you organize and outline your story. In addition they can:

    • Interview you and maybe other family members
    • Provide assistance writing and editing
    • Help to sort through your collections and photos
    • Serve as a coach if you want to write your own manuscript
